Here are some clear instructions, with map, on how to find La Cala Resort.

After collecting your luggage from the carousel walk towards the exit, you will see on your right a sign pointing down ramp for "Car Hire", follow the sign and make your way to the car hire company named on your voucher. Once you have collected your car follow the signs to the exit (Salida), you will go out of the airport following the sign to Malaga. Straight over the first island, then just after the San Miguel factory on your right take the right fork A7 to Cadiz-Marbella-Algeciras.

Keep in the right hand lane and after a short distance again take the fork to the right, keep on the E15/A7 and follow this road past Torremolinos & Benalmadena. You must keep on the A7 at all times (do not go off into any of the resorts), after approximately 25 kilometre's the road will split (this is the yellow road on the map). The E15/AP7 it is a toll road (DO NO TAKE THIS ROAD), just keep to the right which is the A7.

You will pass Fuengirola & Mijas. Keep on the main A7 passing El Faro, now look out for a sign on the right "Attencion Curva Peligrosa" 500m and then another 300m, after approximately 1 kilometre you will see the sign Cala de Mijas, take this turning off the A7, at the bottom of the slip road turn right (La Cala Golf Resort) follow the road until you reach a mini island, turn left (still following signs to La Cala Golf Resort), follow the mountain road(very twisty) for approx 6 kilometre’s. You will reach La Cala Golf Resort Hotel on your left, past the tennis courts, then La Cala Club House also on your left, and then finally La Terrazas del Golf houses, also on your left.
