Contact Graham Goode Racing and you are immediately in touch with almost 25 years of automobile engineering expertise aimed at the discerning drivers of all high performance road, race and rally vehicles -- but especially at the owners of Ford-based cars powered by turbocharged Cosworth engines.

After an exacting upbringing at Broadspeed Engineering, building internationally successful racing saloons, Graham Goode constructed and raced his first two Cosworth-powered Fords. Amazing success in British special saloon car championships, and a rapid expansion of his business to cope with the demands for his expertise as a racing car instructor, led to his invlovement with the now legendary Ford Sierra Cosworth for the 1987 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).

In August 1987 Graham scored the first ever BTCC win for the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500. In the following two years, more cars were built and run from Graham Goode Racing's Leicester premises. In 1988, GGR ran a second BTCC RS500 for Mike Newman and prepared many customer cars for other championships, again with many successes.

Graham's expanding company ran no fewer than three RS500s for the 1989 season, for himself, Mike Newman and Sean Walker. The Sean Walker GGR RS500 was driven by, none other than, 1996 World Formula One Champion, Damon Hill - who was then a Touring Car debutant. More successes followed in 1990, the final year for the turbocharged RS500. And in 1991 a normally aspirated GGR Sierra Cosworth, driven by privateer Andy Middlehurst, finished well ahead of the official works-supported Ford Sapphire Cosworth!

From 1992, when Graham accepted an invitation to race an RS500 in the Malaysian Touring car races, and rounds of the South East Asian Touring Car Championship, another very successful chapter in the Company's history began. In the following three seasons, Graham won every Touring Car race he entered - except one, where he finished second - competing against the likes of Nissan Skyline GTRs, DTM specification BMW M3s and Mercedes 190s.

GGR has always built and developed its own engines for road, race and rally use. Power outputs increased from a modest 310bhp in 1987 to a massive but reliable 540bhp by 1990. It has built roadgoing 540bhp Cosworths with Zytec engine management sytems and numerous other cars to individual customer requirements. The Company has also developed possibly the widest range of ancillary car components available, to cope with this awesome power. One glance at GGR's 1997 48 page full-colour brochure, the definitive performance catalogue, will confirm this.

GGR prides itself on giving friendly, unbiased advice to drivers who require something extra from their motoring - on the road, on the track, or in special stages. Graham's 20+ years of unrivalled experience as a car constructor and competitor, plus the expertise of his specialist technicians, is now available to YOU - at the click of a mouse !
