3. Examples for a typical parcel weighing 2kg
| UK | Royal Mail Special Delivery | £8.50 |
| UK | Securicor Next Day | £10.00 + VAT |
| Overseas | Paris Via FedEx | £24.67 + VAT |
| Overseas | USA Via DHL | £33.25 |
| Overseas | Australia Via FedEx | £45.12 |
| Overseas | Hong Kong Via FedEx | £45.12 |
4. Delivery calculation by Volume
Some parcels are calculated by volumetric weight where the volume is greater than the actual weight i.e. a parcel, which is large but does not weigh much. The most commonly used formula for calculating this is
Length ( L ) cms x Width ( W ) cms x Breadth ( B ) cms divided by 6000 .
Example:
A parcel measuring 50cms x 50cms x 50cms and weighing 10kgs -
50 x 50 x 50 = 125,000 / 6000 = 20.83
Therefore the chargeable weight will be 21kgs as the volumetric weight ( 20.83 ) is greater than the actual weight ( 10 ).
How Can I Find Out Where My Parcel Is?
For UK parcels simply telephone GGR and we can track down your parcel by telephoning the chosen shipper. For overseas parcels we will e-mail you your unique tracking number upon despatch of your goods. Your parcel is then traceable by clicking on the web site of the chosen shipper all of whom have track and trace facilities

For shipments which are sent by airfreight or seafreight we will do our utmost to make sure you have full flight/shipping details and any relevant airway bill numbers.
What If My Goods Arrive Damaged?
In the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged you must initially refuse delivery if your parcel is quite obviously damaged externally. If your parcel is not damaged externally but its contents are damaged then you must report this to us immediately. Whilst we have various insurances against this eventuality the quick and efficient way to resolve any problems of this nature are to act quickly and preferably, if possible, return the damaged goods within 24 hours. We take great care to ensure your orders reach you on time and safely so the incidence of damaged goods is very rare and as such is treated with the utmost urgency and care.
