HELPFUL INFO....
Although we would usually expect Cosworth owners to have any major repairs undertaken by specialist engineers, we also understand that enthusiasts may prefer to do certain work themselves. For this reason we are including the following basic technical data. If more detailed information is required, we suggest that the Cosworth workshop manuals(Part No. COS) are purchased.
A word of caution to amateur mechanics. Many operations require specialist fitting skills and routines that may be beyond your capabilities. We cannot accept any responsibility for parts damaged by incorrect fitting. Whilst we take every care to ensure that the correct components are supplied, the final onus of responsibility rests with the person fitting these parts to make the final checks. If the part doesn't appear to fit correctly, it should be accurately measured, and its compatibility checked with the details in the workshop manual. If you experience any difficulty, please remember that we are only a telephone call away for verbal assistance.
The Golden Rule is, "If you don't posses the correct equipment, or have sufficient experience to do the job, save yourself time, money, and heartache by entrusting the work to someone who does!"
